Manor House residents and staff are warmly inviting friends, families and members of the local community to a Coffee Morning in support of Dementia UK on Friday 8th May 2026 from 10.00am.
The event promises a relaxed morning of coffee, conversation and connection, with everyone welcome to come along and support an important cause. As shown in the event posters, the home is also helping to raise awareness around dementia support, including promoting a Dementia Friends Awareness Course alongside the fundraising effort.
At Manor House, supporting people living with dementia is something the team feels strongly about. Staff see every day how important compassion, understanding and specialist care can be, not only for residents but also for their loved ones. This coffee morning is a chance to bring people together in a friendly setting while also helping a charity that provides expert support to families affected by dementia.
The linked fundraising page explains that donations to Dementia UK help fund services such as the charity’s free helpline and the work of specialist Admiral Nurses, who offer practical advice and emotional support to families in the community. The page has a current fundraising goal of £300, and those unable to attend in person can still support the event by using the QR code shown on the poster or donating via the online fundraising link.
Manor House would love to see plenty of familiar and new faces there, all coming together over a cuppa to make a difference.
