There was great excitement at Manor House this Easter as residents enjoyed a wonderful surprise visit from the Easter Bunny.
The special guest brought plenty of smiles and laughter, spending time with residents both in the garden and indoors. Photos show residents posing happily with the Easter Bunny outside, including one resident pictured with a carer and an Easter egg, while others gathered together in the garden for cheerful group photographs. Inside the home, the fun continued in the conservatory, where residents wearing Easter bonnets joined in with dancing and enjoyed the lively atmosphere.
Chocolate eggs were also part of the celebration, adding an extra treat to the occasion. One image shows a male resident receiving an egg from the Easter Bunny, while another captures a female resident with two carers wearing fluffy chick hairbands and holding a basket of chocolate eggs, helping to spread the Easter cheer throughout the home.
Seasonal visits and celebrations like this can make a real difference to residents’ wellbeing. They encourage social interaction, lift spirits and create warm shared moments between residents and staff. The combination of music, movement, conversation and a little chocolate brought a lovely sense of occasion to the day.
It was a joyful Easter celebration at Manor House, and a big thank you goes to the Easter Bunny for bringing so much happiness to everyone.
